Timothy Stenger

Partner, Senior Appraiser

Timothy provides a full service personal property appraisal business offering USPAP self-contained, certified appraisals for the purposes of insurance, estate taxes and planning or consideration of the sale of your collection. All appraisals follow strict guidelines as required by insurance and financial companies, as well as the IRS and determined by the Uniform Standard of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). In addition, Tim also brings more than 25 years of experience in advising clients in the purchase or sale of fine and decorative art whether for investment or as part of your active role as a collector.

Timothy has worked for some of the nation’s top auction houses including Sotheby’s, Hindman Auctioneers, LLC, Cowan's and EBTH (Everything But The House).  He has participated in multiple Appraisal Events providing appraisals as part of fundraisers for the Friends Foundation in conjunction with the Denver Public Library on behalf of Caring Transitions. For the past five years, Tim has also provided appraisals for the annual Colorado Collectibles event aired by Colorado Public Television. He has completed over $175 M in appraisals for private and corporate clients as well as financial institutions.

William Bischoff

Partner, Business Development

William oversees business development of appraisals and advisory for Trusts and Estates. This includes establishing, developing, and maintaining business relationships with professionals in the trust and estate community, including attorneys, trust officers, wealth managers, accountants and realtors in order to provide necessary appraisal and sale advisory services for all types of fine art, decorative art, jewelry and collectibles.

William guides all aspects of the business development and marketing strategies for Stenger Bischoff. He works closely with Timothy to build relationships and pursue new business and assists with estate inquiry assessments/evaluations where required.
